This policy explains how Steward handles information for property managers, residents, vendors, and other people who use Steward-powered maintenance workflows.
What data Steward collects
Steward collects the information needed to provide maintenance operations software for property managers. This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, organization or property details, unit or work order information, resident maintenance requests, vendor coordination details, appointment windows, message content, support requests, and related operational notes.
Steward may also collect technical information such as device, browser, log, usage, and security data when people visit the website or use Steward-powered services.
How Steward uses that data
Steward uses collected information to receive and organize resident maintenance requests, coordinate repairs, schedule service, send maintenance updates, communicate with residents and vendors, provide support, operate and improve the product, maintain security, prevent abuse, and satisfy operational or legal obligations.
SMS and mobile information
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties except as necessary to provide and support the messaging service.
Service providers and subprocessors
Steward may use subprocessors and service providers only to operate the product, deliver messages, host infrastructure, provide support, maintain security, analyze reliability, and perform related services on Steward's behalf. These providers are not permitted to use Steward data for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
